Emily is 2

This is Emily at her party. Cami and Kadie, notice what she is wearing. She would live in this dress if we let her. One day I let her wear it and then sleep in it!

Our sweet little Emily turned 2 on January 28! We can hardly believe how fast time has gone by. In honor of our wonderful little girl I have made a list of some of the things that make Emily special. Here we go....
PASSION. . .

she dances like no one is watching her
Strong willed . . .
she does what she wants to . . . even if she knows she shouldn't!
Life of the party. . .
watch out Weston, she has an Emily dance!
Kisses and hugs . . .
she grabs my face and gives me kisses and then grabs my neck w/ all her strength
Beauty. . .
she is beautiful on the inside and out
Love . . .
She protects Matt and looks up to Ellie
Striking looks . . .
her blue eyes and blonde hair (where did that come from?!?)
Emily snuggles . . .
enough said!
Opinionated . . .
she tells you what she thinks- even if she knows she will get in trouble (tells is relative- her looks, finger pointing/ shaking)
Real . . .
her facial expressions tell you exactly what she is thinking
Love for life . . .
she is amazed by the little things in life
Games . . .
Finally, if you want to play hide and seek- Emily will give you a challenge -Just ask the police, EMT's, and family that have unwillingly played with her!

I love this picture. Emily never slept in a crib. So, I thought it was funny that she took her nap in Matthew's port-a-crib on her 2nd birthday!
