Well, let me preface this entry with this notion- my children are so lucky to have the grandparents they have on both sides in their lives. They get SHOWERED with lots of love and support as do all their cousins.
Earlier this summer Grandma and Grandpa Bird came up for a weekend to visit. What did they do most of the time? They helped Brandon build our playset. After a lot of sweat we had a beautiful playset that has already been well used. Wow, that was so nice- like 30 hours of hard work nice.
We are so lucky that Grandma Dorothy spends most of her time with us. She blesses our lives and makes things fun. Here is a little glimpse of life with Grandma Dorothy. Back in September I decided I was taking my 3 kids to Reno to watch the Great Balloon Race. Well, Grandma was having a hard time with her back that week. It didn't matter. She got up at 3:30AM and drove into Reno with me and my 3 sleepy children to watch the hot air balloons take off at dawn. What a trooper!
