Our sweet Matthew is very small. He is just over 12 pounds at 5 months. He is long - 70th percentile for height currently, but has no fat on him. So, I am busy trying to fatten him up. He is officially doing 'big boy' food- you know yummy baby food. My WGU friend Kelly gave me a great recipe she created for yam- cubes you make yourself. LOVE IT- great alternative to yucky baby food!
So, here are pictures of the first time Matthew had food. We gave him sweet potatoes. Notice that the pictures include Emily and Ellie too. WHY? Well, Ellie is allergic to sweet potatoes. Her doctor thought it would be something she out grew though. We thought we would see if she out grew this allergy since it had been 4 years ago. Well, she swallowed and then vomitted them up- immediately- GROSS. Emily never wants to be left out so we let her join in too! Emily was not a fan either.
