Ellie and I continued the family tradition of ice- skating on Christmas Eve next to the Truckee River. I sure hope that is the river! It was so fun. Ellie would have continued to go around and around all night if we didn't have to get home for Christmas! She was very brave even when she fell down, and down, and down.
Then we had so much fun eating a yummy dinner at Tom and Julie's home. Our annual White Elephant gift exchange continued and this year Tom, yes Tom, brought the best gift. Lucky us, Ellie picked his gift. I am speechless in my ability to describe it. It found a place up on our pot shlef next to Ryan's Virgin Mary Wood Statue from last year's White Elephant Gift Exchange!
