Disneyland
Our first Sunday in California Brandon decided to go to Catalina Island with his brothers. That meant the kids and I had a free day. So, we decided to go to Disneyland. Grandma Dorothy was a great sport and joined us. She knows Disneyland better than anyone and escorted us around both parks so we hit the new rides at times when we would not have to wait in lines.
The girls love Disneyland rides but really love the parades. We went to every parade at Disneyland and California Adventure. My girls were so excited to see their favorite characters. Emily started to shake when she saw the princesses and both girls were visably astonished when Tinkerbell flew over Disneyland during the firework show. It was magical and made me miss when I lived miles from D-Land and could go often. WE LOVED IT! At about 10 PM Emily looked at me and said , "Mommy, its sleepy time."

SEAWORLD
The next Monday we had our daddy back and headed south to San Diego. We spent the day at Sea World. As Brandon put it, Sea World is the best place! It is amazing to be that close to these huge beautiful creatures. We saw all the shows and animal exhibits. The girls enjoyed feeding and touching the dolphins the most! Brandon loved the dolphin show and I really enjoyed the Shamu night show called "Shamu Rocks"- it was like being at a rock concert.
